about Martin Miller

Martin is a third-generation weaver, storyteller, and historical fencer.

Drawn to historical tapestry’s pictorial and storytelling aspects he took a hiatus from his floor looms to study tapestry weaving with Jean-Pierre Larochette, Marcel Marois, and Kathe Todd-Hooker.

He is currently studying with Rebecca Mezof through her on-line classes.

Martin has taught tapestry for the University of Alaska Fairbanks, multiple weaving guilds, folk schools, yarn shops and private studies for experienced students.
